A Registered Office Address and a Service Address are used for receiving only governmental post, for example notifications and requests from Companies House and HMRC.  Should you wish that other post regarding your business should also be delivered to the same address then you must purchase also a Business Address from your company formation agent.

A Business Address service includes the receipt of post from your business partners, clients, suppliers, banks and others and forwarding all of it to you.  You may use this as a general business contact address so that, in combination with the other addresses, all paper correspondence for your company or partnership will arrive at the office of your company formation agent, who will then forward the post to you as it is received.

There are many reasons why you might want to use a business address, but the most common one is to keep your business and personal life separate. If you’re running a business out of your home, using a business address can give you some much-needed privacy and professionalism.
